First Aid for Sport
Clubphysio provides the Football Association First Aid for Sport course in line with 1st4sport Qualifications. The course covers responsibilities of the 1st aider, anatomy & physiology, injuries sustained in sport, on-field assessment and treatment, illnesses and conditions. It is valied for 3 years and is ideal for anyone whoworks in sport or has responsibility for those participating in sport.
CPD for Physio's
Sheffield United FC Academy are hosting a series of courses to promote CPD among physio's, students and other professionals.
The next in the series of one-day courses is to take place at SUFC's training ground on Wednesday 25th March.
The course is with Leon Chaitow who literally wrote the book on Muscle Energy Techniques and is planned to run from 9.30 - 5.00. Cost is £150 and includes the book Muscle Energy Techniques 3rd Ed and DVD of techniques, plus full lunch and refreshments.
The next course is planned for April on Tendonopathy and will be a mixture of theory and practical.
